The Cody House
We have a private home and private rooms available for rent. Located on the quiet mossy oak lined Washington Ave, this 5 bedroom home is the rectory for our church.  Built in the 1920's the original marble entry and staircase invites tired travelers to explore its warm well appointed rooms. 

It also serves as the creative space for many writers in residence and writers during workshops.  The bedrooms upstairs are themed for renowned authors.  Hemingway, Frost, The Brownings, Flannery O'conner, to name a few.  Savannah has been home to many well known authors, thus one room is themed the Savannah Room.  Books, sayings, and collectibles adorn the rooms and bring giggles of recognition from many guests.

The kitchen has all new appliances with several grocery stores and a Target nearby.  There is a large dining room table for families, with additional tables and chairs available.  The back covered patio overlooking a small garden area is nice for breakfast.  Complete with wicker furniture and lighting, its also perfect for evening cocktails.  Beside the house is a large fenced in Ark playhouse.  There is off street parking for 5 cars and free street parking.  Daffin Park is just steps away with large soccer fields for playing, a playground and large fountain.

The house sleeps 14 and is available for $1200 from Friday to Monday. Each additional day is $300 a day.
