Originally a second story bedroom for the family, this room is now set aside for visiting brides and their attendants. Offering a beautiful view of Forsyth Park, the room is appointed a combination of modern and antique furnishings.
The queen-size bed, made in Germany in the late 1800s, offers a respite from the day’s activities and the matching vanity provides a charming space for makeup and hair preparation or just to sit and “reflect”.
The spacious bathroom is a mix of original 1903 marble and modern tile and hosts a large shower with a bench. The mahogany tri-fold mirror allows the bride that “one last look” at her overall beauty prior to descending the stairs for her big day. The adjacent fainting couch is strategically located for the bride, “just in case.” When not utilized by visiting brides, this room is the preferred guest room for visiting family and friends.
