Receptions are a specialty of the Metts Mansion with the capacity for a formal sit-down dinner for fifty or a standing reception of up to 200 (including exterior areas). Fine china, silver, crystal, linen and flatware are also available.
A charming “Bride’s Room” is located on the second floor with a spacious bathroom and shower as well as enough comfortable space for a bride and her attendants. This area is available for the entire wedding day and into the night, if a reception is held on site.
For the Groom and his groomsmen, the Metts Mansion offers the Groom’s Den - complete with wide-screen television, refrigerator, recliners and plenty of space to dress and relax before and after the wedding and/or reception.
Dancing under the stars is a favorite event during wedding receptions. The beautiful arched portico is perfect for a band or D.J., and offers guests a great place to dance the night away or watch from the sidelines or from under the colonnaded veranda.
